YOUR OWN NOTARY

Print, Sign, and Retrn Closing

1

Print

On the day of your closing (and usually sooner), we will send you a copy of all of your closing documents via our client portal.  Once received, you will print a physical copy of all documents.  In most instances, all documents will be standard letter sized paper and can be printed in black and white or color or if that is not the case, we will tell you with the instructions contained with the documents.  You are responsible for ensuring that all documents print properly with no text cut off or illegible.

2

Sign/Notarize

Taking care to ensure nothing is missed, you will sign, initial, fill-in and notarize all documents.  We are available if you have questions, and we ask that you be careful not to miss anything as most lenders are very particular about all documents being completed exactly as they desire.  It is strongly recommended that you use blue ink when signing while not all lenders still require this, it’s better to be cautious and avoid having to resign the documents.

3

Scan/Mail

Once all documents are signed, we ask that you scan a copy back to us prior to mailing the documents.  This is so we can review and make sure that everything is properly signed and get copies to the lender (as is applicable) for them to conduct a similar review.  If all looks good, you can drop the docs in the mail or bring by our office.  Although you can complete this process anytime in the day, we ask that you do it as early as possible as that helps us to ensure we have time to get lender approval and complete a same day closing.
